Non-Oil Trade Value With Indonesia Grows 70%

EghtesadOnline: Iran traded 734,920 tons of non-oil commodities worth $313.06 million with Indonesia during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22), registering a 37.36% and 70.27% growth in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s statistics show.

Iran’s exports to Indonesia stood at 660,693 tons worth $252.23 million, up 37.99% and 90.85% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. Indonesia was Iran’s 11th biggest export destination during the period. Iran mainly exported liquefied propane, liquefied butane, metal and steel ingots to Indonesia during the four-month period. Meanwhile, Indonesia exported 74,227 tons of goods worth $60.83 million to Iran, up 32.03% and 17.66% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. Indonesia was the 29th major exporter of goods to Iran over the four months. The imports mainly included aluminum oxide, cardboard and medium-density fiberboard, according to Financial Tribune.
